How we handle your organisation’s information
Renovo Digital Innovations Limited (“REDI”), a company registered in Nigeria (Certificate No. 9699497) of 21B Gaduwa Estate, Gaduwa, Abuja, Nigeria, is the data controller for information held in Kapasivo. We handle personal and organisational data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).
We collect the account details you provide (name, email, password); your organisation profile (type, sector, mission, activities, funding interests, and similar); documents you choose to upload; and opportunities you save. We also keep basic technical records needed to operate and secure the service.
We use your information solely to provide Kapasivo to you: to search for and assess funding opportunities, to judge how well they fit your organisation, to store your documents, to send service notices, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
To find and assess opportunities, Kapasivo sends relevant parts of your profile and documents to trusted artificial-intelligence and web-search providers (currently Google’s Gemini service) which process the request and return results. These providers act on our instruction to deliver the service and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
Each organisation’s data is kept private to that organisation and is not visible to other clients. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. While no online service can guarantee absolute security, we treat the protection of your information as a priority.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we will remove it within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records to meet legal obligations.
Under the NDPA you may request access to the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent. To make a request, contact us at info@kapasivo.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
We may update this policy from time to time and will make the current version available within the product. The effective date above indicates when this version took effect.
