The agreement between Kapasivo and organisations that use it
1. Who we are
Kapasivo is a software service owned and operated by Renovo Digital Innovations Limited (“REDI”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Nigeria (Certificate No. 9699497), of 21B Gaduwa Estate, Gaduwa, Abuja, Nigeria. By creating an account or using Kapasivo, your organisation (“you”) agrees to these Terms.
2. Your right to use Kapasivo
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Kapasivo for your organisation’s own funding and administrative purposes, for as long as your access or subscription is active. This right cannot be shared, sold, or sublicensed to any other organisation.
3. What you may not do
You must not, nor permit others to: copy, reproduce, or redistribute the software or its design; resell, rent, or offer Kapasivo as your own service; reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to recreate how it works; extract or scrape its content or methods to build a competing product; or remove or alter any ownership or branding.
4. Ownership (intellectual property)
Kapasivo, including its software, source code, design, features, methods, wording, and branding, is and remains the exclusive property of REDI. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you. The information you enter (your organisation profile and documents) remains yours; you grant us permission to process it only to provide the service to you.
5. Accounts and access
Each organisation is given a private space and administrator login. You are responsible for keeping login details secure and for the activity of accounts under your organisation. We may suspend or withdraw access if these Terms are breached, or if a subscription is unpaid, without loss of your stored data.
6. The nature of the service
Kapasivo helps you discover and assess funding opportunities using automated tools, including artificial intelligence. It is a decision-support tool, not a guarantee. Eligibility, deadlines, amounts, and fit are indicative and must be verified by you against the funder’s official source before you apply or rely on them. You remain solely responsible for your applications and funding decisions.
7. Fees
Access is offered on a trial or paid basis, on the terms set out in your subscription arrangement with us. Continued access to paid features depends on the applicable fees being paid.
8. Limitation of liability
Kapasivo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, REDI shall not be liable for lost funding, missed deadlines, inaccurate results, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees paid by you for the service in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time and will make the current version available within the product. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.
